BONX Inc. BONX WORK, based in Chuo-ku, Tokyo and led by CEO Takahiro Miyasaka, now supports voice notifications from “Vi-nurse.” This system, developed by Aiphone Co., Ltd, is a nurse call solution that enhances on-site communication. This integration happens thanks to “Care Data Connect” (CDC). It’s a nursing and medical data linking platform from Bright Vie Inc.
Previously, BONX WORK supported notification integration via CDC from compatible monitoring systems. With this latest development, the system can now also receive notifications from Aiphone’s widely used “Vi-nurse” system, commonly deployed in healthcare and nursing care environments.
Key Benefits of the Integration
The integration enables real-time, voice-based nurse call notifications from “Vi-nurse” to be delivered to BONX WORK group chats via CDC. Staff can receive and understand the nature of each call hands-free through earphones, eliminating the need to check PHS devices or other dedicated hardware. They can also share information and coordinate responses immediately through BONX WORK, streamlining team communication and improving response times.

In traditional setups, notifications from various monitoring and nursing systems were dispersed across multiple devices and platforms. This collaboration allows those notifications to be unified onto a single device- smartphones paired with earphones, minimizing the number of devices staff must carry, simplifying workflows, and ultimately reducing workload. It also helps prevent missed alerts and near misses, thereby contributing to higher standards in patient care and safety.
Looking Ahead
With many facilities facing challenges such as limited availability of PHS devices and the discontinuation of related services, the shift toward smartphone-based communication is gaining importance. BONX aims to leverage this successful integration with Aiphone’s “Vi-nurse” to further enhance compatibility with CDC and accelerate digital transformation in medical and nursing care settings.
