Business Engineering Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has begun offering “BatchLine Lite MES,” a new pharmaceutical manufacturing record digitization tool from BatchLine Co., Ltd., from March 2025. By providing BatchLine, B-EN-G, which has knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, will contribute to the digitization of manufacturing records in the industry. This will also help strengthen GMP compliance and improve the efficiency of manufacturing sites.
In the pharmaceutical industry, issues that arise from traditional paper-based manufacturing records include transcription errors, review burdens, risk of record loss, and the burden of responding to audits. The right approach to solving these problems is to introduce a manufacturing execution system (MES) and digitize manufacturing records, but some companies have been unable to implement MES due to the implementation costs and operational issues.
B-EN-G had also received feedback from customers in the same industry that “computerization of manufacturing records is necessary, but the introduction of MES is a high hurdle in terms of the investment scale and securing of specialized personnel.” In light of this, BatchLine Lite MES, which places emphasis on the completeness of manufacturing records and compliance with regulations, is low-cost and has a proven track record overseas, and was determined to be the optimal solution to resolve these issues, and decided to begin offering it in Japan.
