MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies says its health tech arm MOTHER Labs has signed a distributor deal with TD SYNNEX. Nothing fancy here. The point is simple. TD SYNNEX will use its nationwide reach and long experience in getting IT products into the market to speed up the spread of two MOTHER Labs products. The recharge free smart tracker MOTHER Bracelet and the remote monitoring system REMONY.
Now the partnership part. TD SYNNEX sits on a huge global network that covers more than 100 countries and works with over 1,500 manufacturers. They are known for bundling domestic and international IT products into workable solutions. They have also already helped overseas smart trackers get traction in Japan as an authorized distributor. So the plan is that both sides keep working together to drive wider adoption of health and safety solutions across the country.
A quick look at the products.
MOTHER Bracelet is billed as the first 24 by 7 recharge free smart tracker. It uses tech from a Silicon Valley company that pulls energy from the temperature difference between the body and the air. No charging means no downtime and no gaps in data. The device tracks heart rate, calories burned, body surface temperature, steps and sleep. Multiple organizations including WPO, PATENTSCOPE, the Japan Science and Technology Agency, J GLOBAL and J PlatPat have confirmed the related intellectual property around this recharge free tracker using the Seebeck effect as of July 3, 2021 based on ESP Research.

Then comes REMONY. This is the remote health monitoring system that pairs the MOTHER Bracelet with a dedicated gateway. Data syncs automatically and can be monitored centrally in real time. With traditional wearables, information is often lost-at least temporarily-when the device is taken off for charging. Since the MOTHER Bracelet runs 24 by 7 without removal, it allows faster detection of health issues and helps avoid accidents. The system can be tailored for different use cases like elder care or monitoring night shift workers.
Key functions include tracking heart rate, calories burned, body surface temperature, steps and sleep. It also offers alerts for falls, abnormal heart rate, heatstroke and SOS signals along with automatic notifications tied to those alerts.
