BONX Inc., developer of the one-stop solution for on-site communication “BONX WORK,” is pleased to announce that it has completed voice notification API integration between BONX WORK and “MAMORUNO ship”, a nursing care robot provided by ZIPCARE Inc.
With this collaboration, alert notifications regarding changes in the user’s condition detected by MAMORUNO (getting out of bed, getting up, changes in breathing, changes in pulse, etc.) will be sent to staff members’ earphones in real time via BONX WORK. This allows staff to grasp the user’s condition hands-free without having to check the screen of a smartphone or other device, enabling a quick initial response and smooth cooperation between staff. BONX will contribute to reducing the burden on nursing care sites and improving the quality of care through high-quality voice communication.
In the field of nursing care, amid a worsening labor shortage, it is an urgent task to balance reducing the workload of each staff member with ensuring the safety of users at a high level. Highly functional monitoring systems such as MAMORUNO detect minute changes in users and contribute to improving the quality of care and risk management, but when an alert occurs, it takes time and effort for staff to check the device and share that information within the team, which can be an obstacle to a rapid response.

This collaboration will enable important alert information captured by MAMORUNO to be communicated to staff on the job in real time and hands-free via the voice communication tool BONX WORK. This will reduce the time spent checking information, promote instant situation assessment and rapid team cooperation, and aim to improve the efficiency of nursing care operations and realize a system for providing higher quality care.
