Lush Japan, a natural cosmetics brand originating from the UK, has a brand purpose of “leaving the earth in a fresher, more abundant state for future generations.” As they work on health management to improve the well-being of the employees who support the brand, they felt the need to digitize health management operations and improve efficiency in data utilization, and so decided to introduce “mediment.”
Lush Japan had previously been handling health checkup results on paper, which placed a heavy burden on information management and data utilization, and the company faced the following challenges:

1. Workload due to paper-based operations
It took a lot of time and effort to receive the health checkup results, digitize them, analyze them, and update the company’s internal system.
2. Risks in information management
When handling sensitive personal information, there were concerns about information management risks, such as data entry errors and incorrect linking, when digitizing data using existing systems.
3. Delays in data utilization
The preparation work required to analyze and utilize health checkup data and stress check data took time, making it difficult to respond quickly.
