JCB International Co., Ltd., Japan’s only international payment brand, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Noage International Inc. (“NI”), a company specializing in medical and health checkup services. This partnership seeks to expand the JCB Advanced Medical Tourism Program. Since 2023, it has offered excellent medical tourism choices in Japan for wealthy Indonesians.
On the same occasion, NI also signed an MoU with PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk. Danamon Privilege Banking customers with Danamon JCB Precious Cards can now enjoy special perks from the JCB Medical Tourism Program. These benefits are also extended to JCB Indonesia Ultimate cardholders.
Expanding Access to Premium Medical Services
Medical tourism is becoming more popular in Indonesia. Wealthy people often travel abroad for high-quality medical care. Singapore and Malaysia are still popular choices. However, Japan struggles with accessibility issues, especially when it comes to language.
To tackle these challenges, JCB launched the JCB Advanced Medical Tourism Program in October 2023. It started its services in Osaka. In August 2024, the program grew to Tokyo. This gives cardmembers more ways to access top-tier medical care in Japan.

JCB cardmembers can now pick from two top facilities for their care: Tokyo Midtown Clinic in Roppongi and Nihonbashi Muromachi Mitsui Tower Midtown Clinic. Both are linked with NI. JCB Ultimate cardholders in Indonesia can get free health checkups at these clinics.
English-speaking support will be available throughout the entire medical process, from initial consultation through follow-up, ensuring a seamless and reassuring experience for cardmembers.
Additionally, JCB’s partner travel agency in Indonesia will support all travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, and transportation. A dedicated hospitality program will also be provided, offering customized sightseeing and access to JCB’s exclusive privileges in Japan.
About the Memorandum
JCB currently issues JCB Cards in Indonesia through partnerships with nine institutions, primarily major banks, focusing on affluent clientele.
