Healthcare Technologies Corp., a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp., will collaborate with Lifelog Technology Corp. to introduce “Calorie WebView” as a service update for HELPO remote specific health guidance from April 22, 2025.
This will allow those receiving specific health guidance to easily record and visualize their daily dietary intake on the “HELPO” app, and by seamlessly linking the recorded information with the instructor, an environment will be created in which they can receive more precise support, improving the effectiveness of specific health guidance.
In the future, in addition to corporate health management and employee health support, the company will also develop solutions to promote lifestyle improvement and behavioral change by expanding into lifestyle disease prevention measures for health insurance associations.

In order to prevent and improve the increasing number of lifestyle-related diseases, the government is recommending that each medical insurer implement “specific health guidance” as an opportunity to detect disease risks early and, based on the results, review daily habits such as exercise, diet, and smoking.
However, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the implementation rate of specific health guidance in fiscal 2022 was only 26.5%, compared to the target of 45%, highlighting the difficulty of motivating people to improve their lifestyle habits and providing support until completion.
Furthermore, the fourth phase of specific health guidance, which began in 2024, has been defined as “enables recipients to take care of themselves (self-manage) their own health,” and outcome evaluation has been introduced, creating a demand for guidance that leads to even greater results.
As part of its efforts to maximize the performance of specific health guidance, Healthcare Technologies has introduced the “Calorie WebView” function into “HELPO,” the support management app for the HELPO remote specific health guidance service, in order to improve the usability of dietary records.
This will allow those receiving specific health guidance to easily record and visualize their daily dietary intake on the “HELPO” app, and by seamlessly linking the recorded information with the instructor, an environment will be created in which they can receive more precise support, improving the effectiveness of specific health guidance.
