Public Technologies Co., Ltd., which develops and operates the super app for local governments “Pubtech” and the AI-based administrative support tool “Pubtech AI Administration,” is pleased to announce that “Pubtech AI Administration” has been introduced in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, from September 2025. Through interviews, the Company will work to build an internal database and optimize work flows, reducing the workload of employees and improving productivity.
In local government workplaces, with limited human and time resources, the proportion of non-core tasks such as research, document preparation, and document proofreading remains high, meaning that time allocation to key tasks is put on the back burner, creating a bottleneck in productivity. Mine City introduced “Pubtech AI Administration” after referring to previous trial cases in and outside Yamaguchi Prefecture, which were highly praised for its ability to be used without requiring ingenuity in prompts (instructions) and without relying on the IT skills of employees, as well as for its functional design that is suited to administrative work.

“Pubtech AI Administration” is an AI tool for supporting government administration that builds a database specialized for administrative work and reproduces administrative work flows without prompts. From gathering information to creating administrative documents and responding to inquiries, AI supports operations, significantly reducing the burden on staff. Over 170 local governments have already started using the tool in trials, dramatically improving the efficiency of daily work by reducing unnecessary work and creating an environment where staff can focus on decision-making.
