Jimoty Inc. and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This will create a strategic business alliance. The partnership wants to create sustainable solutions. These solutions will help tackle challenges that local communities face.
Jimoty runs the local info platform “Jimoty.” Their goal is to show the region’s current state and link people to future opportunities.” The platform helps around 10 million users each month. It connects people giving away large items, like furniture and appliances, with those in need. Jimoty promotes reuse initiatives through “Jimoty Spots.” This program was developed with help from both public and private sectors. In the year before 2024, about 300,000 usable items were reused. This led to a waste reduction of around 1,290 tons, based on average item weight and reuse volume.
CCC operates under the mission of being “a company that creates cultural infrastructure.” The company provides corporate solutions that use intellectual capital. It has a consulting business that drives innovation through partnerships. Its retail and lifestyle segment adds new value for consumers. It also builds cultural and intellectual assets.
