TOKIUM Co., Ltd., a provider of accounting AI agents, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Plaritown Co., Ltd., a group company of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc.
A labor shortage of 6.44 million people is projected by 2030, highlighting the serious social challenge of a declining working-age population due to a low birthrate and aging population. The labor shortage has become particularly pronounced in medium-sized and small businesses since 2020.
While AI is seen as a promising solution to this problem, a shortage of specialized personnel and other factors are hindering its adoption in many small and medium-sized enterprises.
