OKI has partnered with Billing System Co., Ltd. to provide ATM ” PayB Collection Service ” from February 2026. This service is realized by linking OKI’s integrated service collaboration platform ” XlivLinkS™ ” with Billing System’s payment service “PayB®”. This will create an environment where users can easily pay local taxes and utility charges at ATMs, and contribute to improving the efficiency of counter operations and reducing the burden of work at financial institutions. This service has been adopted by Higo Bank Ltd. and Seibu Shinkin Bank.
In recent years, the shift to cashless payments has progressed, and digital channels are increasingly being used to pay taxes and utility bills. However, physical channels such as ATMs are widely supported, especially by generations that are not familiar with digital devices, such as the elderly. In addition, the collection of local taxes and utility bills requires time and effort for financial institutions, and represents a significant workload issue.
OKI’s “XlivLinkS” provides a mechanism for easy access to various services through environments and devices that anyone is familiar with. The billing system “PayB” is a payment service that allows immediate payment by reading barcodes on payment slips with local tax unified QR code® (eL-QR®) or payment slips at convenience stores with a smartphone app. “ATM PayB”, which links “XlivLinkS” and “PayB” at ATMs, uses barcode readers installed in ATMs to provide a mechanism that allows users to easily pay by simply operating the ATM. This allows financial institutions to improve the efficiency of collection operations and the entire subsequent process. In addition, by utilizing ATMs that can be used outside of financial institution store business hours, such as at night, on weekends, and on holidays, it contributes to improving the convenience of paying local taxes and utility bills.

OKI and Billing System will strengthen the rollout of “ATM PayB” to financial institutions nationwide that face similar issues, contributing to improved operational efficiency and user convenience.
