Nippon Information & Communications Corporation (NI+C), a member of the NTT Group, began offering a new version (v4.0.0) of its EDI product “EDIPACK21”. EDIPACK21 is a tool that automates the exchange of order data with business partners and remittance data with financial institutions, helping to improve the efficiency of daily operations. The new version supports foreign remittance services that comply with the international standard ISO 20022. By supporting the foreign remittance file transmission service provided by NTT Data Corporation, secure transmission is provided for companies that perform foreign remittance operations by file transmission (via SWIFT).

In addition, it supports electronic storage of electronic transaction data (EDI data), which has been made mandatory by the amendment of the Electronic Bookkeeping Act. EDI data is securely stored for a long period of time and automatically uploaded to NI+C‘s storage service. This meets the needs of companies that want to store EDI data safely for a long period of time. In terms of support for the latest security technology, it supports TLS 1.3 and provides communication procedures adopted in various industries both domestically and internationally with more secure encryption protocols. In terms of OS and middleware support, the operating environment has been expanded to include Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9, Tomcat 10, PostgreSQL 16, and more.
