Mizuho Trust Bank has started using the document video service “SPOKES”. Bloom Act, which provides the service, announced this on February 20th. With this introduction, the bank can now efficiently provide training materials for bank employees and explanatory materials for agents through video. SPOKES is a service that allows you to easily create videos with synthetic voice by simply uploading “PowerPoint” documents. In just two years since its release, more than 600 companies have adopted it, and it is used in a wide range of fields, not only financial institutions but also local governments and educational institutions. Unlike traditional video production, it does not require the hassle of shooting, recording, and editing. Simply modifying the PowerPoint document automatically updates the video, so you can always provide the latest information.
In addition, the narration with high-quality synthetic voice eliminates inconsistencies in explanations and enables accurate information transmission. In addition, the service supports 32 languages and can be deployed in multiple languages. The interactive function allows viewers to select the parts they are interested in and transition to external links. In addition, it collects viewing logs to understand customer interests and supports data output in CSV format. Mizuho Trust Bank previously spent a lot of time and effort preparing training materials and explaining them to agents.

This was especially burdensome when materials needed to be frequently revised, such as when the training content changed or when responding to questions from agents. In the future, the bank is considering using the materials for a wider range of purposes, such as product explanations and procedure guidance for customers.
