TRENDE Inc. has raised funds of 1.07 billion yen through third-party allotment of new shares and is pleased to announce that four companies, Tokyo Century Corporation, National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations, Zennoh Energy Co., Ltd., and Toshiba Infrastructure Systems & Solutions Corporation, have joined as new shareholders on March 19, 2025. With this capital alliance as an opportunity, we will pursue business synergies with each company in the following ways.
TRENDE operates Terraris, a solar power generation system and storage battery leasing business, and will raise funds to support future business expansion and to collaborate with Tokyo Century Corporation in the fields of finance and asset management.
In addition, as part of the Smart Agri-Community Project led by the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations, we are collaborating with JA Denki, a retail electricity provider of Zennoh Energy Co., Ltd., in Gunma Prefecture to develop an electricity exchange project for local production and consumption using P2P (Peer to Peer) electricity trading technology. In the future, we will expand the area and prepare electricity menus so that we can introduce them to all farmer members.

Toshiba Infrastructure Systems & Solutions Corporation and Toshiba have been working together on the local production and consumption of electricity using their V2X system and our P2P (Peer to Peer) electricity trading scheme as part of the Ehime Prefecture Triangle Ehime Promotion Project “Digital Implementation Acceleration Project.” Based on the results of this initiative, we will introduce this initiative to local governments across Japan, including Ehime Prefecture, and jointly contribute to the realization of local production and consumption of electricity and a low-carbon society in each region of Japan.
