Open Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Open Group Co., Ltd. and provider of the anti-social forces check service “RoboRobo Compliance Check” for companies preparing for an IPO, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Meinan M&A Co., Ltd.
Meinan M&A, which provides M&A consulting services to small and medium-sized enterprises mainly in the Tokai region, received J-Adviser approval from the Tokyo Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “TSE”) in October 2022 and is supporting listings on the Tokyo Pro Market (hereinafter referred to as “TPM”). As part of this support, Meinan M&A has been increasingly conducting double checks on business partners whose compliance has been checked initially by companies planning to be listed.
This is an important process to increase the reliability of the screening process, as it is necessary to confirm that the business partner does not have any anti-social affiliations, and then explain the confirmation method to the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Meinan M&A had previously used a different checking method, but it was mainly manual, which placed a heavy burden on staff, and they could not keep up with the increase in the number of cases and the need for speed, so they began considering replacing it with a more efficient service.

When comparing multiple tools, Meinan M&A focused on three points: 1) quality and speed, 2) visualization of checklists, and 3) overseas support. This was because, as a review organization in the final stage before listing, Meinan M&A needed to process large amounts of data quickly, and had the opportunity to use lists of check and judgment histories to present evidence to the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and because many of its clients were conducting overseas transactions.
From this perspective, RoboRobo Compliance Check quickly completed over 5,000 checks on the first use, and the results were displayed with a relevance level (high, medium, low), making the confirmation process efficient. In addition, the check history and judgment history are output in a single file, visualization is possible at the 1,000-item level, and keywords can be set in foreign languages such as English. This was deemed to be superior to other services, leading to its introduction.
