Finovo Inc., a provider of the innovative accounting data platform “Finovo,” has successfully raised 150 million yen in seed funding through a third-party allotment of new shares, underwritten by Genesia Ventures. The company announced this milestone alongside the launch of its new professional services aimed at supporting financial transformation for businesses.
Founded in November 2021, Finovo has been dedicated to transforming the role of accounting, finance, and corporate planning functions in Japanese companies. The company’s mission is to move these departments beyond traditional scorekeeping, evolving them into strategic business partners that foster company growth through the adoption of advanced technologies, process automation, and enhanced data analysis.
In November 2023, Finovo introduced its flagship platform, designed to automate and enhance the collection, processing, and analysis of accounting data. The platform has been widely adopted by a diverse range of companies, from large enterprises with over 1,000 employees to agile startups across various industries.

Building on the success of its platform, Finovo is now offering professional services provided by a team of experts, including certified public accountants. This new service aims to further assist clients in their financial transformation journey.

The company will also use the funds to enhance its internal operations, recruit talent, and strengthen its marketing efforts to further expand its development and business structure.
