Insurance claims assessment work, which is carried out after receiving insurance claims from policyholders, requires highly specialized judgment based on complex terms and conditions that can span hundreds of pages. This makes it difficult to accumulate and share knowledge, and issues such as uneven burden on staff familiar with the work and personalization of work tend to arise. Smart Plus SSI, a small amount and short-term insurance company in the Finatext Group, was also forced to streamline its assessment work as the number of assessments increased with the expansion of its business. To address this issue, Finatext developed a function that uses generative AI to support the creation of assessment documents, which accounts for the majority of the assessment work, using Amazon Web Services services, and decided to provide it on “Inspire.”
