NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS and its Hong Kong subsidiary, NTT Com Asia, have announced the launch of “APN InterLink”, a new ultra-low latency connectivity service for financial institutions in Hong Kong, set to begin operations on November 1, 2025. Powered by All-Photonic Network (APN) technology under the IOWN® initiative, the service is designed to meet the growing demand for high-speed, low-latency data transmission essential for algorithmic and high-frequency trading, real-time transaction processing, and disaster recovery systems.
APN InterLink enables direct photonics-based connections between key financial data centers, including NTT Com Asia’s Financial Data Center and Tai Po Data Center, as well as dedicated links between customer sites across Hong Kong. By minimizing latency and enhancing reliability, the service supports digital transformation and AI-driven innovation in the financial sector.
