DOCOMO SMTB Net Bank and Monex Securities have started offering integrated banking and securities features from August 28, 2026. The new services are designed to make it easier for customers to move money between their bank and investment accounts.
The main addition is an automatic deposit, or sweep, service. When customers do not have enough buying power for domestic stocks or investment trusts at Monex Securities, the required funds are automatically transferred from their DOCOMO SMTB Net Bank account. The service has no usage fee and operates 24 hours a day, except during system maintenance.
Customers can also apply for a Monex Securities account while opening a DOCOMO SMTB Net Bank account. This removes the need to complete separate applications and can simplify the account opening process.

The sweep service is available to customers using specified branches, including branches named after fruits, sweets and sea creatures.
The initiative follows a business alliance formed by NTT DOCOMO SMTB Net Bank, Monex Securities and NTT DOCOMO in December 2025. The three companies are combining their financial services to make banking, investing and payments more closely connected.
The companies also plan to offer linked benefits across DOCOMO SMTB Net Bank, Monex Securities and d Card. Customers meeting certain conditions can receive higher d Point rewards, while Monex Securities customers can earn additional benefits through sweep services and eligible savings products.
