Netstars Inc. and Aptos have signed a memorandum of understanding focused on expanding Web3 payment technologies and stablecoin related payment systems.
The partnership is basically about connecting traditional payment infrastructure with blockchain based financial services instead of treating them as separate ecosystems. Both companies say they want to explore practical ways to bridge Web2 payment systems with newer Web3 financial infrastructure.
One of the main projects tied to the collaboration is something called StarPay X, a gateway concept being developed by Netstars. The idea behind it is to let businesses and users access blockchain based payment functions alongside existing cashless payment systems without forcing them into one specific platform or blockchain network.

A major focus will be multi chain support. The companies plan to discuss expanding compatibility across different blockchain networks while improving interoperability between regular digital payments and decentralized financial systems.
Aptos brings the blockchain side of the partnership. The company operates a Layer 1 blockchain platform built around scalability, transaction speed, and security. The network has already been used in areas like enterprise systems and financial services.
Netstars Inc. comes from the more traditional payment infrastructure side. The company already works with merchant networks and cashless payment systems, so the partnership gives Aptos access to practical deployment experience and existing payment operations.
The companies also made it clear that this is not an announcement for a finished commercial product yet. No specific service launch has been confirmed right now. Instead, the agreement creates a framework for future collaboration around stablecoin services, blockchain payment integration, and broader Web3 payment deployment.
The bigger picture here is that payment companies are increasingly trying to merge traditional financial systems with blockchain infrastructure gradually instead of pushing completely separate crypto only ecosystems.
