SCSK Corporation announced that it will begin offering an AI dashboard built using Google’s generative AI model “Gemini” and Google Cloud’s data platform product “Looker” for its next-generation ERP “PROACTIVE”. PROACTIVE is a digital offering service that combines the various intellectual property and business know-how of the SCSK Group. With an AI-native next-generation ERP at its core, the “business-specific offering” provides solutions to business issues in various fields, from accounting, human resources and payroll, to sales and production management, and the “industry-specific offering” combines best practices for wholesalers, trading companies, manufacturing, construction, and the service industry to provide one-stop solutions to the unique management issues faced by each industry, achieving “business efficiency and automation” and “advanced management judgment”.
The newly provided AI dashboard analyzes data accumulated in PROACTIVE based on industry-specific business knowledge, and not only visualizes data, but also provides data-based analysis and suggestions for complex issues faced by companies, supporting quick and accurate decision-making. For example, for the issue of “sluggish sales of a certain product,” AI can analyze data from different perspectives across the board, and display it on the dashboard in the form of “customer satisfaction may be declining because the time from order to shipment is longer than that of other products,” quickly grasping the essence of the problem and proposing specific improvement measures to be taken next. AI’s analysis of a combination of internal and external data allows it to discover correlations and trends and provide suggestions. By linking with Gemini, automatically generated summaries, topics, and action plans are presented on the dashboard as a result of the analysis of internal data, significantly reducing the labor required to create reports.

In addition, by linking the analysis results with each function of PROACTIVE, specific action plans for achieving goals, such as measures to increase sales, and future forecasts based on them can be derived. For example, by linking with sales management and accounting functions and grasping the difference from the planned profit and loss, it is possible to predict the increase or decrease in order quantities and purchased inventory. SCSK explained that it will continue to evolve in each of the core pillars of PROACTIVE AI: management sophistication and efficiency/automation. In terms of advanced management, the interactive analysis function goes beyond simply presenting data, allowing users to conduct analysis while interacting with an AI agent, making it possible to discover trends and outliers in data and generate new hypotheses even when there is no clear hypothesis. In terms of efficiency and automation, the multi-modal input function makes it easier for users to use the system by utilizing a more intuitive interface that includes images, voice, and video in addition to natural language.
