GENKEI Corporation has released a new system called “GENKEI AI Agent” that supports operations through collaboration between humans and AI for the cloud services “GENKEI VAULT” and “GENKEI LINK,” which support everything from drawing and inquiry management to quotation and procurement work for machined products.
The first step in this initiative is the launch of the “email link registration function.”
GENKEI AI Agent is an AI support system that reduces the burden on users and improves work efficiency by carrying out tasks in the most optimal way by utilizing the advanced analysis functions of GENKEI AI Assistant and GENKEI Cloud, accumulated business data, and know-how cultivated in the field of manufacturing.
The first feature, the “email integration registration feature,” uses AI to analyze quotation request emails from customers.
It classifies attached drawings, extracts information, automatically creates a drawing list, and performs the entire process from case registration to completion.

Until now, when sales representatives received a request for quotation email while they were out or in the middle of a sales meeting, there was an issue of delays in checking and responding.
In addition, tedious tasks such as checking received emails and attached drawings, and organizing and sharing information increased the workload of staff and led to long working hours.
GENKEI AI Agent’s “email integration registration function” can greatly improve these on-site issues.
GENKEI VAULT is a cloud-based project management and processing cost estimation service that has a project management function that can store and manage drawings and related materials uploaded to the service, and a processing cost estimation function that can calculate processing costs based on stored drawings.
The case management function allows you to share knowledge and experience by storing and managing not only drawings, but all data related to the drawings (quotations, inspection sheets, product images, etc.).
The processing cost estimation function allows you to select and specify the processing content in the drawing, and automatically designs the processing process, selects the tools to be used, calculates the processing time including setup, and calculates the processing cost. Customers can adjust processing parameters, various charges, labor rates, etc., making it possible to calculate processing costs according to actual processing.
“GENKEI LINK” is a service that helps streamline procurement operations, allowing you to efficiently create requests for quotation from drawings and drawing information uploaded to the service, make requests to multiple contractors, compile quotation responses, and even compare quotation responses.
When creating a request for quotation, AI automatically reads and extracts drawing information such as drawing number, item name, and quantity that needs to be communicated to the quotation recipient, reducing the effort and time required to prepare a request for quotation.
The estimates submitted by each company are automatically reflected in the response list and a comparison table is generated, eliminating the need to manually create a summary table.
