I-NET Corporation and All Nippon Airways Trading Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce that on February 21, 2025, they signed a comprehensive business alliance agreement to mutually utilize management resources related to the space business, with the aim of expanding the space businesses of both companies and contributing to the development of Japan’s space industry.
By combining I-Net’s knowledge of manned and unmanned spacecraft development, testing, and operation with ANA Trading’s knowledge, network, and trading company functions in the aviation industry supply chain, we will support the strengthening of Japan’s satellite supply chain and take on the challenge of reforming satellites toward mass production. Both companies will strive to play a role as a hub that can link the knowledge of various industries, with the aviation industry at the core, with the knowledge of the space industry.
Many companies are entering the space industry in Japan, and it is expected to develop even further than before. However, since much of the equipment and parts used in the space industry are imported or customized from overseas, there are growing concerns about rising costs. We recognize this as one of the factors that could become a challenge for the sustainable development of the industry in the future.

I-NET and ANA Trading have been discussing ways to solve the above problems. ANA Trading has been utilizing its wide network to attract non-space-related companies that are interested in entering the space business, and I-NET has begun working with multiple companies to develop new, cost-competitive components by bringing together its satellite technical knowledge. We will continue to invite the participation of many companies and promote solutions to the space industry’s problems through co-creation.
