NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), which operates the Docomo Group’s corporate business brand “Docomo Business,” will release the public beta version of “chakoshi,” a guardrail technology for generative AI , on February 19. The public beta version of “chakoshi” allows users to try out the text safety assessment function.
With rapid technological advances and widespread use, generative AI is expected to bring great business innovation and operational efficiency to companies. However, the use of generative AI has given rise to security incidents such as leaks of confidential company information and ethical issues such as questions about how to make dangerous objects, making it an urgent task for companies to ensure the safety of their use of AI. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry have set out requirements for the safety of AI in the “AI Business Guidelines .”
In response to this background, NTT Com has developed “chakoshi,” a guardrail technology that enables companies to use generative AI safely and securely. “chakoshi” can be used to prevent confidential information leaks during internal knowledge searches and to address ethical and legal issues surrounding chatbots that handle customer support.
