We are pleased to announce that we have started recruiting partners for a demonstration experiment to promote the use of generative AI in government agencies such as local governments and government offices. This is the 12th recruitment following the recruitment in November 2025. Background of the release – Supporting RAG verification for government and local governments before budget allocation
ChatGPT is an AI chatbot service that can have natural conversations like a human. ChatGPT has begun to be introduced to many corporations with the aim of improving business efficiency and service quality. KnowledgeSense’s government-oriented generative AI service “ChatSense” has also attracted attention for its strengths for corporations, such as a highly secure environment and additional learning functions for internal data, and has been introduced to more than 500 companies, including major companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime.

Recently, interest in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology has been growing among local governments. RAG is a system that loads in-house data into generative AI, and is expected to improve business efficiency. Despite this growing interest, in talking to government officials, it has become clear that the introduction of generative AI and RAG in government and local governments requires more implementation support than that of a regular corporation.
1. Thorough security
In order for local governments to utilize generative AI, it is necessary to restrict access by IP address, support SSO authentication, and make prior commitments through SLAs.
2. Transparency of quotes
When local governments use IT tools such as generative AI, they may need to issue many documents necessary for administrative processing, including unit price quotations and delivery notes.
3. Free pre-testing without a budget
The biggest obstacle to using generative AI in local governments is the budget. When formulating next year’s budget, it is not possible to verify how much government employees will use generative AI or what it will be used for. It has become clear that there is a need to conduct preliminary verification, if possible, free of charge.
Support to meet all of these special needs is not available in our regular plans. However, ChatSense will provide special support to the partners we are recruiting this time. We have decided to recruit partners for demonstration experiments in order to meet the needs of governments and local governments who want to “try it out first” or “see what happens after additional learning (RAG) of local government data.”
