SUPER STUDIO Inc., which provides the integrated commerce platform “ecforce” that realizes commerce DX, is pleased to announce that it has begun system integration with “O-MOTION,” a fraud detection service provided by Cacco Inc., which provides fraud detection services and contributes to the creation of a safe infrastructure for online transactions and online shopping. In commemoration of this system integration, a special O-MOTION campaign will be held for businesses that introduce ecforce from Monday, February 3rd of this year.
Background of system integration
In recent years, there have been many cases of fraudulent activity on EC sites, such as malicious third parties illegally logging into existing members’ accounts and placing orders while impersonating the members, and EC businesses have made many requests for measures to prevent unauthorized logins. In addition, the “Credit Card Security Guidelines,” which stipulates security measures that businesses involved in credit card transactions should implement, also requires measures against unauthorized logins, unauthorized member registrations, and unauthorized changes to attribute information. In order to address these issues, we have decided to start system integration between ecforce and O-MOTION.
Benefits of system integration
This system integration allows businesses that introduce ecforce to implement real-time blocking of unauthorized login countermeasures by O-MOTION (when registering as a member, when authenticating login, when changing attributes) simply by embedding a JavaScript tag. Real-time blocking is a mechanism that automatically requests additional authentication or blocks unauthorized access when O-MOTION determines that a login has occurred, and by fully automating the process from fraud detection to subsequent processing, unauthorized login countermeasures can be implemented quickly and efficiently without increasing operational burden.
In addition, by combining it with Cacco’s fraudulent order detection service “O-PLUX,” which is already system-linked with ecforce, it will be possible to achieve consistent fraud prevention measures at each stage (before, during, and after payment) as outlined in the “Credit Card Security Guidelines [Version 5.0],” which stipulates security measures that businesses involved in credit card transactions should implement.
