DigiReha Inc., a company that improves the quality of rehabilitation and realizes individual optimization, is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a Tokyo Metropolitan certified social farm operator based on the “Ordinance on Promoting Measures Relating to Supporting Employment for Tokyo Residents and Promoting the Establishment of Social Farms.”
Through DigiReha, we will continue to create an environment where evidence-based rehabilitation can be continued frequently, and we will work to support each member in working in a way that suits their wishes.
Comment from Yukino Noro, Executive Officer and Manager of Digital Reha
We are truly grateful to have been certified as a Tokyo Social Farm. We feel that in 2024, we will gain new members and that the DigiReha ship has accelerated one step further.
DigiReha has members and family members who are defined as “people with difficulty finding employment.” In this society where anyone can become a person with difficulty finding employment, I want to continue to provide working styles that meet their wishes, no matter what happens to working members and their families, including myself. Of course, working styles change as life stages change. I was always thinking about how to provide an environment where people can continue to work flexibly, and that’s why I applied to a social farm.
We believe that creating an environment where “people with employment difficulties” can work in a way that suits them will lead to the foundation for the long-term employment of the necessary human resources at DigiReha. For us, “employment” is the same as “adding to the family.” That’s why we conduct at least three recruitment interviews, including interviews for all applicants, and provide thorough support for members and interviews after they join the company.
We will also work to create the necessary environment so that each and every member can continue to work freely, regardless of employment difficulties.
What is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government Certified Social Farm?
Tokyo-certified social farms are social enterprises that employ more than 20% of their workforce who are people with disabilities, single parents, people who have experienced social withdrawal, or other people who have difficulty finding employment.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government enacted the Social Farm Ordinance in December 2019 with the aim of comprehensively supporting the independence of people with various employment difficulties, going beyond the framework of people with disabilities and the elderly, on the premise that appropriate consideration is given. Following the enactment of the ordinance, Tokyo Metropolitan Government-certified social farms were established in March 2021.
