Cellid has entered into a business partnership with Megane Top to develop and bring AR glasses to market under Megane Top’s own brand. The collaboration combines Cellid’s AR glasses technology with Megane Top’s experience in eyewear product development and its nationwide sales network.
Under the partnership, Cellid will contribute its expertise in the optical and hardware technologies required for AR glasses, as well as product design and development. Megane Top will apply its experience in eyewear product development and sales, with both companies working together from product development through market deployment.
The companies plan to begin advance reservations for the jointly developed AR glasses through the Green Funding crowdfunding platform on October 23, 2026. Following the crowdfunding campaign, the product is expected to be sold through Megane Top’s nationwide store network, including its Megane Ichiba stores, enabling access to a broader range of customers.
