OBC, a developer and seller of core business systems including Kanjo Bugyo and Bugyo Cloud, has partnered with Cyber Governance Lab Co., Ltd. to help domestic companies strengthen their cybersecurity measures and business continuity.
The collaboration comes as ransomware attacks continue to increase, with small and medium-sized businesses increasingly becoming targets alongside larger companies. The impact of cyberattacks now extends beyond data breaches, with attacks capable of disrupting business operations themselves. At the same time, companies are facing growing demands from business partners to explain and demonstrate their security measures as supply chain security becomes more important.
Under the initiative, OBC will combine its Bugyo Cloud core business infrastructure with CGL’s cybersecurity assessment service, RASHIN for Bugyo Cloud. The two services are designed to work together to help companies understand their cyber risks and strengthen their ability to continue operations during an attack.
RASHIN for Bugyo Cloud provides companies with a diagnosis and improvement roadmap, helping them visualize their individual security risks and identify which measures should be prioritized.

Bugyo Cloud uses a privacy separation design intended to prevent core business data from becoming a ransomware target. This provides a business foundation designed to support continued operations even if an attack occurs.
The collaboration also focuses on maintaining security improvements over time. Continuous evaluations and improvement roadmaps through RASHIN, combined with automatic updates for Bugyo Cloud, are intended to help companies sustain their security levels and respond to regulatory requirements.
Going forward, OBC and CGL will work with partners across Japan to support business continuity and promote cybersecurity through seminars, content and other initiatives.
