Acrit has launched Pay-ms, a payment SMS delivery service designed to help businesses send payment links directly to customers without developing or significantly modifying existing systems.
The service sends SMS notifications containing payment URLs to mobile numbers through a web-based management screen. Customers can tap the link and complete payments, including credit card transactions, from their smartphones.
The move addresses a familiar problem for businesses. Payment reminders sent through mail, email, or phone calls can be missed, while introducing new payment methods often requires costly system changes. Pay-ms takes a simpler route by using SMS as the payment notification layer.

The service can support e-commerce payments, overdue fee collection, memberships, monthly charges, and utility bills. Acrit currently supports credit card payments and plans to add convenience store payments and API integrations as it expands the platform.
