Dentsu Research Institute Inc., which realizes the evolution of companies and society through technology, and Nippon Steel Solutions Co., Ltd. will begin a collaboration to develop and provide new value in the IT infrastructure domain, with a view to the next generation of digital transformation (DX) and the advancement of AI utilization in companies.
This collaboration will combine Dentsu Research Institute’s industry- and business-level (LOB)-based consulting capabilities and system development and implementation expertise with NSSOL’s strengths in highly reliable IT infrastructure technology, thereby enhancing the value that both companies provide to their customers. At the core of the IT infrastructure will be the next-generation managed cloud service “absonne4,” which will address various challenges that companies and society will face in the future, such as legacy system issues, DX promotion, cyberattack countermeasures, and AI utilization.
Background and reasons for the collaboration

Furthermore, the rapid proliferation of technologies such as generative AI has significantly altered the nature of the IT infrastructure required by businesses. In this context, in order to effectively utilize IT, flexibility, autonomy, resilience, and agility of the supporting IT infrastructure are crucial, in addition to the utilization of applications and data.
