Space Renaissance Inc. has entered into a capital and business alliance with Quontier Inc.. The partnership will combine Space Renaissance’s technical capabilities in rocket development support and mission analysis with Quontier’s experience in business strategy, sales, organizational development, and consulting.
Space Renaissance, also known as SR, specializes in rocket design and development support, mission analysis, and flight safety analysis. The company has an engineering team focused on the space sector and its own technical foundation in flight and safety analysis, both of which are core areas of space transportation.
As SR looks to expand its business, it has identified the need to strengthen areas beyond technology. These include dedicated business strategy and sales functions, along with a stronger organizational foundation.

Quontier provides consulting services covering the full process from strategy development to implementation and operational adoption. It also has experience creating businesses and developing management talent. The company has built expertise in digital transformation and business process reform across manufacturing, automotive, and heavy industries. Through the partnership, this knowledge will also be applied to the space industry.
The agreement includes both capital participation and continued business support. The companies aim to strengthen SR’s business foundation by combining its technical expertise with Quontier’s business development capabilities.
The partnership will focus on several areas. Quontier will use its business strategy capabilities and sales network to support new customer acquisition and business opportunities, mainly within the space industry.
The two companies will also work together on revenue models, growth strategies, recruitment, and organizational development. The goal is to turn SR’s technical capabilities into a sustainable business.
For customer delivery, Quontier’s consulting capabilities will be combined with SR’s space industry expertise. The companies said this will help improve the value provided to customers.
SR’s technology platform will also be strengthened with support from Est Rouge, the company from which SR originated and an alliance partner of Quontier. Est Rouge will contribute its expertise in system development, cybersecurity, and UI/UX.
The partnership also brings a change to SR’s management structure. Quontier President and CEO Kota Yoshizawa has joined the board of Space Renaissance. He will oversee business strategy, sales strategy, and business development. He will work alongside SR President and CEO Koki Terasawa, who is responsible for technology development.
The alliance is also the first project under Quontier’s “Co-Venturing Studio” business co-creation model.
Terasawa said the partnership gives SR a structure that complements its technology development capabilities with sales, recruitment, and business strategy functions. He added that the combination of Quontier’s business development capabilities and Est Rouge’s system development expertise will help accelerate the creation of digital infrastructure for Japan’s space industry.
Yoshizawa said the space industry is an important part of Japan’s growth strategy and that SR has built technical capabilities and experience at the forefront of the sector. He added that Quontier intends to participate not only as an adviser or investor, but as a management partner involved in building the business.
Through the alliance, the companies aim to strengthen SR’s commercial and organizational foundation while expanding the use of its rocket development, mission analysis, and flight safety expertise across Japan’s growing space sector.
