Rosetta Inc., a group company of Metalial Inc., which develops and provides “Rakuyaku AI,” the No. 1*1 AI translation service in the domestic market and an AI specializing in pharmaceutical documents, announced that Rakuyaku AI has declared its complete transition to an AI-driven organization centered on Claude Code.
We see this not merely as a tool implementation, but as an “irreversible structural transformation” where AI is entrusted with the “execution layer” of all intellectual work, allowing humans to focus on giving instructions and making decisions. As a company leading the AI transformation in the pharmaceutical industry, we will demonstrate our persuasive power and ability to drive transformation by becoming the organization most deeply immersed in AI ourselves.
Background: Why now is the time to shift to an AI-driven organization?
The use of generative AI is rapidly evolving from the stage of “asking ChatGPT questions” to the stage of “AI autonomously performing tasks.” Claude Code, provided by Anthropic, surpassed $1 billion in annualized revenue in just six months since its public release in May 2025. The company’s Chief Product Officer, Mike Krieger, officially announced that “Claude Code reached $1 billion in annualized revenue in six months,”*2 and it is driving corporate transformation as an AI agent that not only assists with coding but also handles a wide range of intellectual work, including document creation, research, analysis, and decision support.
We are also beginning to see results in the pharmaceutical field. In April 2026, our company succeeded in reducing the time required to draft CSRs (Clinical Research Summary Reports) from approximately four weeks to approximately two days using our pharmaceutical document generation AI, “Rakuyaku AI,” by more than 90%*3. We also expect to reduce the overall development process, which currently takes 4 to 6 months, by 50 to 60%, demonstrating that the use of AI as the “execution layer” is yielding tangible results even in the pharmaceutical industry, where regulatory requirements are extremely stringent.

We ourselves will be at the forefront of AI utilization, and our own business transformation will give us credibility in our proposals to pharmaceutical companies. That is why we are declaring our transition to an AI-driven organization.
Key points of the AI-driven organization declaration
Things to throw away
- The feeling that “it’s faster if I do it myself”: This is the biggest obstacle that has hindered organizational scaling, so it should be discarded.
- Personalized knowledge: Knowledge held in one person’s mind is not an organizational asset. It only becomes an asset when it is structured through Claude Code.
- The habit of humans taking on tasks that can be handled by AI: Human time should be used to evaluate AI output and formulate better questions.
What you will gain
The roles of all members converge on the following two axes. Regardless of position or job type (sales, development, planning, management), these two skills are the core capabilities for everyone.
- Precise instructions for the AI
- Responsible judgment regarding AI output
Three Principles of Action
- First, ask Claude Code: Before you research, before you start writing, before you schedule a meeting, you only need to use your own brain when you’re evaluating the AI’s output.
- Turn your work tasks into skills. I document my work as a SKILL.md file and transform it into a shared asset for the organization. This creates a system where one-time tasks are never repeated.
- Develop a wiki for AI. Document business knowledge, decision-making criteria, and customer context in Markdown. The depth of the accumulated documentation directly translates to the intelligence of the AI.
