Cognizant, Inc. has announced the establishment of “Gemini Enterprise Practice,” a specialized organization in collaboration with Google Cloud, to accelerate the large-scale deployment of Gemini Enterprise in enterprises. In addition, Cognizant has been recognized as a “Diamond Partner,” the highest level in the Google Cloud Partner Program, in recognition of its unique “AI Builder” approach, which combines outstanding engineering capabilities, industry expertise, and a proven track record in on-site AI operations.
Under this program, Cognizant plans to shorten the time to value creation through Gemini Enterprise deployment by stationing engineers and senior engineering personnel directly on-site and working closely with the Google Cloud team. Furthermore, they will deploy solutions on the Google Cloud Marketplace, expanding the portfolio of enterprise products available to joint customers. In addition, they are directly investing in Gemini Enterprise certification and skill development across the entire global delivery team, building a technical foundation to enable large-scale service delivery.
Annadurai Elango, President of Core Technology & Insights at Cognizant, stated, “This enhanced approach perfectly embodies Cognizant’s ‘AI Builder’ strategy. Our on-site engineers work directly with Google Cloud teams to solve real-world problems. We have built this capability and proven its effectiveness internally. Now we will roll it out at scale for our shared clients.”

This collaboration reflects the shared understanding between the two companies that enterprises need partners with advanced engineering capabilities to deploy AI at scale and achieve measurable results. Cognizant’s engineering-first model, its expanding portfolio of industrial AI solutions, and its track record of internal deployments of Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace across its global operations provide practical insights that customers can directly utilize.
Kevin Ichhpurani, Head of Google Cloud Global Partner Ecosystem, stated, “To scale AI into production, you need an enterprise-grade platform and a partner who can directly engineer the target outcomes in the field. We combine Google Cloud’s advanced agent capabilities with Cognizant’s deployment expertise to help customers translate the potential of AI into measurable, actionable impact.”
Cognizant’s Gemini Enterprise Practice is already delivering results for joint customers. A major North American telecommunications company partnered with Cognizant to implement agent-based AI to address billing discrepancies affecting hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. This initial initiative has enabled the company to utilize Gemini Enterprise in more than 10 different areas across its operations, including revenue collection, invoice matching, and workflow automation.
This announcement further strengthens the expanding portfolio of joint solutions, including the recently announced Cognizant Agentic Retail CX, a contact center solution utilizing Gemini Enterprise . The two companies are also bringing to market the Agentic Employee Platform, a solution designed to deploy agentic AI to specific roles within an enterprise, from project management to marketing and talent development. Operating on a human-driven, agent-operated model, the platform automates up to 60-70% of manual work within targeted workflows, reducing deployment time from quarters to weeks. This is one of the industry’s first agentic workforce solutions jointly built by Cognizant and Google Cloud.
This also represents the latest achievement in the highly acclaimed partnership between the two companies, which includes Cognizant receiving two awards at the “Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2026” in the “Global Data & Analytics” and “Services & Industry Solutions: Healthcare & Life Sciences” categories, as well as being selected as a leader in Everest Group’s “Google Cloud Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2026.”
