Micronity Co., Ltd., which develops and sells AI-driven software business succession platforms, has acquired shares of Beeline Co., Ltd., which develops and sells electronic medical record and image examination filing systems specifically for ophthalmology, and has completed a business succession. This will combine Beeline’s long-standing knowledge and customer base in the field of ophthalmic medicine with Micronity’s management resources and AI technology capabilities to create a system that will promote next-generation medical DX.
Since its founding in 1997, Beeline has provided IT solutions specializing in ophthalmic medical care. Its flagship products, the ophthalmic-specific electronic medical record system “MediusCL/MediUS” and image examination filing systems, are characterized by their design tailored to the unique workflows of ophthalmology and their comprehensive support system, from implementation to maintenance. Through these efforts, Beeline has accumulated a track record of operation in ophthalmic clinics and hospitals nationwide for over a quarter of a century.
