To improve the operational efficiency of the Ministry of Defense, we have built ReSMS (Reserve Service and Management System), a Reserve Self-Defense Forces personnel management system that handles the mobilization and training support of reserve Self-Defense Forces personnel (Note) nationwide, using Salesforce, and commenced operation in April 2026.
This system will enable efficient and centralized management of operations related to the mobilization and training support of reserve Self-Defense Forces personnel, contributing to the smooth and rapid operation of the reserve Self-Defense Forces system within the Ministry of Defense.
Reserve Self-Defense Force personnel are called up during disasters and national emergencies to serve as Self-Defense Force officers, engaging in base security and disaster relief operations. Depending on their assigned job, reserve personnel are required to participate in a prescribed number of training days each year. Scheduling these training sessions (attendance scheduling) was done via mail and telephone, which meant that mobilization officers spent a considerable amount of time on registration and other procedures. To address these issues, our company, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, developed and implemented this system.

This system allows reserve personnel to make training participation reservations and access e-learning through their smartphones.
Administrators can centrally manage mobilization operations, training participation status, and educational progress of reserve personnel through this system. Units accepting reserve personnel for training also benefit from this system, as it facilitates coordination with related departments regarding training schedules and accommodation, contributing to significant operational efficiency.
This not only improves the efficiency of training but also enables timely mobilization notifications for reserve personnel during emergencies, contributing to rapid disaster relief and assistance.
Going forward, through improvements to the functionality and operation of this system, our company will support the efficient and swift operation of the Reserve Self-Defense Forces system at the Ministry of Defense, thereby contributing to Japan’s national security.
