Safie Inc., the No. 1 cloud video recording service provider, and Ailytics Pte Ltd., a Singapore-based startup that develops and provides AI video analysis, have agreed to a strategic business alliance with the aim of improving safety management at construction and manufacturing sites. Accordingly, a signing ceremony for the strategic partnership was held on April 28, 2026, at “SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026,” Asia’s largest global innovation conference, held at Tokyo Big Sight.
Background of this partnership
Workplace accidents are a serious problem worldwide, with approximately 2.93 million deaths and over 395 million work-related injuries annually. In Japan, while the number of deaths is on a downward trend according to the 2024 workplace accident statistics, the number of injuries and fatalities has increased for the fourth consecutive year, and the situation remains unpredictable.
On the other hand, in domestic construction and manufacturing sites facing a severe labor shortage, constantly monitoring the vast amount of camera footage installed for safety management has already reached its limits in terms of resources. As human-based video review becomes unsustainable, there is a rapidly growing need for “automatic anomaly detection” and “reduction of unsafe behavior” utilizing AI and technology.

With the vision of “creating the future from video,” Safie develops and operates the cloud-based video recording platform “Safie,” providing various solutions based on video data, such as remote situation monitoring, improved operational efficiency, and anomaly detection and prediction through video analysis. It is estimated that the working population will fall to 80% of its current level by 2040, and in order to overcome this serious labor shortage, Safie is promoting “On-site AX (AI Transformation)” to empower decision-making in on-site operations and the people working there, and is rebuilding a sustainable industrial foundation.
Meanwhile, Singaporean startup Ailytics is helping the construction and manufacturing industries improve safety and maximize productivity through video AI analysis technology. By utilizing the company’s advanced AI solutions based on extensive training data, site managers can streamline the evaluation of subcontractors, track progress, and respond to unsafe behaviors, leading to an overall improvement in the quality of safety management across the organization. Currently, with support from subsidies from the Singaporean government and a strong partner network, its adoption is expanding, and starting in Asia, it continues to transform industrial sites around the world into safer and smarter spaces.
Through this partnership, we will promote on-site AI (Automated Safety Assistance) by integrating Safie’s cloud recording platform and devices with Ailytics’ video AI analysis technology to address challenges in safety management at construction and manufacturing sites, and accelerate the introduction of “unsafe behavior detection AI.” Specifically, we will build and provide real-time “detection and alert” and “post-incident review” workflows that overcome the limitations of visual inspection and reactive responses through repeated pilot implementations and proof-of-concept (PoC) verification. In the future, we will leverage Ailytics‘ rapidly growing customer base in Southeast Asia to accelerate Safie‘s global expansion. Through the collaboration of both companies, we will move from Asia to the world. We will spread next-generation general-purpose AI solutions for on-site work and change the way construction sites are run worldwide.
