NSYS is pushing deeper into Japan with its new robot ‘Reeva Nova,’ while expanding its partnership with NewsTech Co., Ltd. This is not their first move here. Their earlier system ‘Reeva’ is already in play. This is the next step.
The timing makes sense. Japan’s used smartphone market is growing steadily. New device prices are going up and more consumers are okay buying refurbished. But the backend is messy. A lot of the work like inspection, testing, and data wiping is still manual. That leads to inconsistent quality and slower operations.
Reeva Nova is built to fix that. It automates grading, diagnostics, and secure data erasure in one system. Compared to manual work, earlier versions already showed up to eight times higher processing capacity. This version pushes further with better speed, more accurate AI grading, and higher throughput. The idea is simple. Scale operations without scaling headcount.

There is proof this model works. Companies like Digital4Business and Alomobile have already used Reeva systems to improve consistency and unlock resale on platforms like Back Market and Amazon Renewed. That also means better trust and the ability to offer warranties.
For Japan, this hits a clear need. Reliable quality, standardization, and the ability to grow without depending on manual labor. This is less about robots and more about fixing a broken operational layer in a growing market.
