SB C&S Corporation has entered into its first domestic distributor agreement with Micas Networks Inc. and will begin handling high-performance open network switches aimed at next-generation data center and enterprise network use.
The move comes as AI adoption keeps pushing data centers to handle heavier workloads. Today, companies request networks that should support rapid scaling and handle massive data processing while maintaining system flexibility during changing operational needs. Open network switch design is gaining popularity because it enables organizations to build their own network systems without being forced to use products from one specific vendor.
Micas Networks’ switches are built mainly for cloud platforms, AI computing environments, and large-scale data centers. The products support open operating environments, including open-source network OS such as SONiC and other commercial OS options, so users can configure systems according to their own technical strategies.

The hardware lineup includes high-speed communication capability reaching 800G and 1.6T transmission speeds. Some models also use Co-Encapsulated Optics technology, which helps push communication speed higher while reducing power consumption compared to conventional switch architectures.
SB C&S plans to distribute these products nationwide by leveraging its sales network of roughly 15,000 partner companies, offering not just hardware but also design, deployment, and operational support for large-scale network construction.
