Interstellar Technologies Inc., which aims to provide space infrastructure for society through its rocket and communications satellite businesses, is pleased to announce that on January 28, 2026, Satoshi Nakayama, Director and VP (Vice President) of Launch Vehicle, will assume the role of Representative Director and President, effective February 1, 2026. Nakayama will serve as Representative Director, co-representative with Representative Director and CEO Inagawa.
As a leading private space transportation company in Japan, Interstellar Technologies aims to be the first company in Japan to vertically integrate its rocket and communications satellite businesses. In the rocket business, development of the first small satellite launch vehicle, the ZERO, is nearing completion, and efforts toward commercialization must be accelerated in parallel.

With the appointment of Nakayama, who has led rocket development since 2021, the company has clarified the responsibilities of both the rocket and communications satellite businesses and transitioned to a management structure that allows for faster decision-making.
