Diver-X Inc. is pleased to announce that it has acquired a business license for the “EXOS” series of force feedback devices from Crosstech Management Inc. on December 1, 2025. Diver-X has traditionally focused on device development centered on haptic feedback technology, but with this acquisition, the company will begin full-scale business development in the fields of force feedback and robotic hands.
By integrating its existing technological assets with the “EXOS” technology, it has become possible to build a system that comprehensively provides all interactions related to the “hand.”
Background of license acquisition
The “EXOS” series was developed by exiii Inc. as an exoskeleton device that uses force feedback technology to reproduce the reaction force felt when touching a computer-generated object in virtual reality (VR). Crosstech Management inherited the device after the company’s dissolution.

Meanwhile, Diver-X, in developing its ContactGlove series of glove-type VR controllers, has been implementing high-precision hand sensing and haptic feedback technology. Diver-X concluded that in order to reproduce the “touch” and “weight” of real-world objects, force feedback technology acting on muscles and tendons, rather than just “tactile sensation” acting on the skin, is essential.
Aiming to further develop and popularize hand interfaces in the XR field, Diver-X has acquired the “EXOS” license from Crosstech Management and will focus on developing and deploying haptic presentation devices and robotic hands.
Future business development: From haptics to kinesthetics, and then to physical AI
Going forward, by combining Diver-X‘s existing haptic technology, which is its strength, with the newly acquired force-haptic technology, the company will not only improve the sense of immersion in the XR field, but also provide next-generation interface solutions in fields where the real world and the digital world are highly integrated, such as remote control of robots (teleoperation) and learning data collection in the rapidly developing field of physical AI.
