Dialpad has launched its full real-time AI features in Japan. Thus, the clients from Japan will have the possibility to utilize, through the already mentioned ‘no extra cost’ until April 2026, transcription, AI summarized notes, and training tools for sales and support personnel along with other features.
The launch includes real-time Japanese transcription. It also includes AI recaps. These recaps automatically summarize conversations. They list key decisions and action items. Users do not need to take notes themselves.
Sales and support teams can use AI coaching tools. These include AI playbooks, live coach cards, and custom moments. More features like AI scorecards and the company dictionary will come later.

Japan is a very difficult market for speech recognition. The language is complex. It has honorifics and subtle business nuances. Dialpad’s AI models are built in-house. They are trained on real conversations. This gives high accuracy, speed, and security for Japanese users.
Dialpad is working with SoftBank to roll these tools out to enterprises, small businesses, and support teams across Japan. Users can turn on the AI features for a whole office, a department, or individual accounts.
After April 2026, users who want to continue using these features will need to subscribe to a paid plan.
