X Corporation has launched a new “PowerPoint-style Design Creation” feature in its AI video generation service “WriteVideo,” which can automatically generate video designs based on PowerPoint (PPTX) documents .
This feature makes it easy to create video designs that inherit the color scheme, layout, and atmosphere of PowerPoint files that have been used as internal documents or training slides, simply by selecting them .
Even in situations where people have previously felt that “making a video changes the feel of the document” or “it takes time to adjust the design,” it will now be possible to create videos that make use of existing documents.

Background: When made into a video, the “usual document feel” is lost.
PowerPoint has long been used as a standard format for sharing information, including corporate training, internal explanations, sales materials, and announcements at local government and educational institutions .
- On the other hand, when moving forward with video production,
- Converting to video changes the mood and tone of the slides
- The color scheme and layout need to be reworked for video.
- In the end, you will need a specialist or outsource to adjust the design.
For these reasons, there are many cases where “even though the materials are available, progress on video production is stalled.”
In particular, for training materials and explanatory materials that are updated annually or monthly, the effort required to recreate the appearance from scratch was a barrier to using video.
To address this issue, WriteVideo has added a “PowerPoint-style design creation” feature that allows users to create videos by “using” the design of PowerPoint documents as a reference .
