Prance Holdings Co., Ltd. has raised a seed round of funding with DEEPCORE, a venture capital firm focused on AI, leading the round. The fresh capital will be used to hire strong engineering and business talent and to speed up product development. The company also plans to expand the functionality of its AI driven recruitment platform, Prance Hiring, and grow the number of companies using it. At a larger level, the aim is simple and urgent. Make hiring more efficient and help ease Japan’s labor shortage.
Prance Hiring is built as a scalable recruitment automation platform. It uses AI to handle core hiring workflows such as candidate screening, interviews, and evaluations. Thousands of candidates can be analyzed in a short time. Interviews can be conducted in both Japanese and English, without being limited by time zones or location. The system evaluates skills, background, and language ability, then quickly matches candidates to roles where they fit best.

At the core is what Prance calls a Humans First approach. AI takes over repetitive tasks like interviewing, screening, and evaluation. People are freed up to focus on relationship building and decision making where human judgment actually matters.
