Vector has released CANape Version 24. It is the latest update of their tool for measurement and calibration in modern vehicle architectures. Engineers and developers can now acquire, analyze, and calibrate data from zone ECUs and high-performance computers more efficiently.
The ASAM CMP protocol has been incorporated into the new version. This results in the possibility of gaining even more accurate measurements. The protocol’s support still extends to CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and Ethernet. It is capable of dealing with intricate ECU configurations and dynamic SOME/IP data structures.
CANape 24 also makes real-time ADAS validation possible. Engineers can directly see free space and obstacles detected by camera, radar, and LIDAR sensors. This helps evaluate perception results faster and optimize safety-critical functions.

Data logging and management are easier too. The vLoggerControlRoom tool provides live monitoring for vehicles with GL Logger or Smart Logger. Dashboards show vehicle position, speed, signal values, and logger status. There is 100 GB of cloud storage for projects and secure data exchange via Vector Team Services. The VP75x1 platform keeps logged data safe with hard disk encryption.
CANape Version 24 gives automakers, suppliers, and development providers a robust platform. It helps them calibrate and validate complex vehicle functions more reliably and efficiently.
