GMO Internet, Inc., a company that is part of the GMO Internet Group, and Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation, headed by President and CEO Tatsufumi Shingu, have formed a sales partnership for the GMO GPU Cloud. The partnership was announced on Friday, October 31, 2025. GMO GPU Cloud is a top-notch cloud service provider from GMO Internet that operates on NVIDIA technology.
The partnership combines CTC’s network and experience in system integration across many industries with GMO Internet’s GPU cloud infrastructure. Together, they aim to help companies adopt generative AI more quickly, spread high-performance GPU infrastructure in advanced fields, and create new value.
GMO Internet and CTC will provide GMO GPU Cloud, which is one of Japan’s top GPU cloud services, as a computing platform for corporate generative AI development and machine learning. GMO GPU Cloud comes with all the software needed for generative AI development. This means companies can start building and training AI models right away without worrying about setting up the environment.

CTC has long provided solutions across a wide range of industries. They have systems in place to support the entire IT lifecycle. This includes choosing and buying services for peripheral systems, as well as design, construction, and operation. The collaboration will create a support system for companies so they can develop and use generative AI smoothly. It will cover everything from organizing requirements and building environments to optimizing operations.
Through this partnership, GMO Internet and CTC will provide support tailored to each industry and company. The implementation of generative AI is expected to expand in various fields such as healthcare, education, research institutions, and the public sector. Japan’s generative AI adoption is going to be accelerated as a result of this very move.
The attention on GMO GPU Cloud comes as companies increasingly use their own data to build machine learning models and generative AI solutions. This has created demand for high-performance computing resources. GMO GPU Cloud is designed to meet that need.
The system uses an NVIDIA-recommended configuration with NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, a high-speed network using NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPUs and NVIDIA Spectrum-X, and ultra-high-speed storage from DataDirect Networks Japan. It is built for handling large amounts of data and is particularly strong for generative AI and machine learning workloads.
In November 2024, GMO GPU Cloud ranked 37th in the world and 6th in Japan on the TOP500 global supercomputer list. In November 2025, it earned a Silver rating in ClusterMAX™ 2.0. This shows its international recognition for fast computing performance as a domestic commercial cloud. With servers equipped with NVIDIA B300 gradually launching in fiscal year 2025, the service is expected to expand further.
