Veeva Japan Co., Ltd., the Japanese subsidiary of Veeva Systems, a global pioneer in SaaS solutions specializing in the life sciences industry, has signed a partnership agreement with Kinko’s Japan Co., Ltd., to begin data integration between Veeva PromoMats , a regulated content management application for the life sciences industry , and Kinko’s on-demand MPM (Marketing Print Management), a promotional material management cloud.
While pharmaceutical companies are increasingly digitalizing promotional materials for physicians prepared by medical representatives (MRs), there is still a need for paper media, such as the desire to check on paper and share within hospitals. However, previously, it was necessary to request and obtain material data stored on Veeva PromoMats, upload it to the promotional materials management cloud “On-Demand MPM,” and request printing, which posed challenges in terms of manual labor and long lead times.
Against this backdrop, Veeva and Kinko’s have entered into a partnership agreement to enable the integration of materials data between the two companies’ systems. This will enable Kinko’s to automatically retrieve approved data from Veeva PromoMats when placing a print order from on-demand MPM. MRs and staff can eliminate the need for data submission and uploading, improving the efficiency of printing material arrangements and the speed of information provision.

This collaboration also enables seamless data connection between Veeva PromoMats and on-demand MPM, enabling centralized management of material orders and swift printing arrangements for promotional materials while ensuring compliance.
“Kinko’s on-demand MPM x Veeva PromoMats will take information provision and promotional material management in the life sciences industry to a new level,” said Hirotaka Chiba, general manager of Veeva Japan.
Key points of this collaboration
Value for both pharmaceutical companies and medical facilities
Kinko’s on-demand printing and data processing technology creates an environment where medical representatives and medical professionals can use materials when they need them, leading to faster information transmission and improved work efficiency.
Balancing compliance and operational governance
Because only authentic data approved by pharmaceutical companies is used, unauthorized alterations are prevented and materials management is carried out in accordance with internal rules, allowing pharmaceutical companies to maintain their control while ensuring speed and flexibility in the field.
Japan’s first printing product to integrate with Veeva
This integration enables a direct data connection between Veeva PromoMats and MPM, enabling accurate and secure printing using approved data under Veeva governance.
Pharmaceutical company personnel simply select and order the necessary materials on the MPM, and Kinko‘s automatically retrieves the data from Veeva and prints it, eliminating the need for the previously required processes of application, download, and re-upload.
