Keeper Security APAC has signed a distributorship agreement with Macnica Corporation. With this deal, Macnica will start offering Keeper’s enterprise password management platform to businesses in Japan.
As companies move faster on digital transformation, they are using more systems. On-premise, cloud, SaaS, it’s all being used together. Most of these systems still rely on ID and password authentication. That means stolen or weak credentials are a real risk. Regular password management and basic security measures are no longer enough. Things like Single Sign-On and Identity as a Service help, but they are expensive and don’t cover every system. Meanwhile, malware that targets stored credentials is becoming more common and more dangerous.
Keeper’s platform takes a zero trust approach to password security. It lets organizations manage credentials from one place. Strong password policies, control processes and access, and reduction of potential attack attacks are enforced. Simultaneously, user experience is kept smooth.

Here are the main features:
- Centralized management. Works for both cloud and on-premise systems. It even covers systems that IDaaS doesn’t.
- Practices for strong passwords. It generates automatically, keeps and enters different passwords for every account. All the access data is securely kept in the encrypted Keeper vault. They are not stored in the local database or browsers at any time.
- Zero-knowledge security. Only the end user can access the data. Keeper never sees the passwords in plain text. This lowers the risk from malware.
It expands, it abides. It integrates with SSO, MFA, SIM, and other security tools. It also supports various types of necessary audits and regulatory requirements.
Macnica will offer Keeper as a standalone solution for small and medium businesses. They will also integrate it with existing cybersecurity services, including EDR and SaaS management platforms. This gives companies a more complete approach to identity and access management.
