U-ZERO announced a partnership with SAP Japan and the launch of the ‘U-ZERO Engagement Suite’ on the SAP Store. U-ZERO, founded in 2024 by Masamune Mimura, former CEO of Concur, is a startup on a mission to create a future where work is rewarding and employees are happy. Guided by the philosophy of eliminating unhappy employees, the company provides cloud services to improve employee engagement.
The U-ZERO Engagement Suite is a SaaS product that employs artificial intelligence to collect and evaluate employee opinions, as well as to advise the management on the actions to be taken. Unveiled in May 2025, the suite is founded on three main principles. The first, Digital, offers AI-powered cloud services including Voice of Employee. Consulting supports implementation and change management. Empowerment covers human services such as feedback training and recruitment support.
The service will first appear on the SAP Store with one of its core features in the Digital pillar, Constructive Feedback. This system employs conversational AI to hear out the possible difficulties of employees and depict not only the strong points but also the weak ones in the organization. By transforming insights into tangible measures, it connects the rift between management and workplace, hence nurturing the organizational growth in a healthy manner.

Constructive Feedback can also work with SAP Japan’s HR cloud service, SAP SuccessFactors. This allows advanced analysis using accumulated HR data and enables the two services to work together, promoting co-creation management centered on employee engagement.
