Dentsu Institute for Research Inc., which realizes the evolution of companies and society through technology, is pleased to announce that Veolia Japan LLC has adopted “POSITIVE,” an integrated HCM solution provided by Dentsu Institute for Research, as the next core HR system for the entire group.
The system is scheduled to go into operation by May 2028 and will serve approximately 9,500 employees across 20 Veolia Group companies in Japan.
Veolia Japan is the Japanese subsidiary of Veolia, a comprehensive environmental solutions company based in France. Through group companies operating nationwide in the three fields of water, waste treatment, and energy management, the company is working hard to solve environmental issues together with local governments and companies in Japan, leveraging its strengths of global experience and network, as well as its community-based service system. In order for the group to further develop in the future, it has been identified as important themes to make the most of limited resources, provide diverse career development opportunities for each employee, and improve the efficiency of human resources operations.

As an ambitious initiative to resolve these issues, the company decided to revamp its entire HR-related system and conducted a comparative study of several domestic packages and implementation vendors in terms of functionality, flexibility, implementation track record, etc. As a result, the company decided to adopt Dentsu Institute‘s “POSITIVE,” which was highly rated for its ability to meet Veolia Japan’s complex business requirements, its functionality, and its flexibility, as well as its high level of project execution ability.
